ABOUT ME

IAN SUBIJANO

ILLUSTRATION, 2D ART
BASED IN PH

Hello, my name is Ian Subijano, also known as Nosferatu Yan. I’m a freelance illustrator and 2D artist with over four years of professional experience in tabletop and mobile game production. I’ve loved drawing characters and creatures since I was a child. I am deeply passionate about my craft and take great pride in the fact that my work is 100% human-made, with no AI used at any stage of my artistic process. I’m currently open for projects and commissions I would love to work with you! Cheers.

CLIENTS

Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include Teppen: Ultimate Card Battle, Legendary: Game of Heroes, Eternal Card Game, Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure, and Dice Dungeons: Mutated Monsters.

INSPIRATIONS

I want to dedicate this section to my artistic heroes who gives me the inspiration to keep making art.

Sarunas Macijauskas

I discovered Sarunas work relatively recently compared to the other artists mentioned here, but he has already become one of my favorites. I really fell in love with his style; his concepts and rendering techniques are incredible. His work is tightly detailed yet still feels painterly, and his use of color is masterful.

April Prime

April is an amazing artist. If you are looking for beautiful creature designs and illustrations, her work is a gold mine of inspiration. I love the way she renders her paintings more specifically how she makes fur look so soft and fluffy. And again, her concept design rocks!

Jesper Ejsing

Jesper’s work has been a constant source of inspiration for me ever since I decided to pursue an art career. Back in my college years, my friends and I started playing Magic: The Gathering, which is when I discovered his art. The way he depicts characters and creatures is so expressive, the amount of movement he conveys in an image is mind-boggling. He is truly a master of his craft, and I deeply admire his work.

Tyler Jacobson

Tyler is another artist I discovered through Magic: The Gathering. His illustrations are stunning, particularly the way he masterfully renders an entire scene. One thing about Tyler's work that truly amazes me is how he handles multiple characters and figures in a single composition. I really look up his work, his concept designs are so sick, too.

Alexandre Zedig Diboine

Alex's work is so freakin' good. I love his shape designs and the flow of his linework. He has created a distinctive style unlike anything I’ve ever seen from another artist. His art is just so visually satisfying. I adore his style so much and the Saltenpepper world he has created.
